Corn S4210 is a mid-late silage hybrid with a dent kernel type, featuring high yield potential and high starch content in the grain. This hybrid is recommended for cultivation in forest-steppe, Polissia, and steppe regions, and is suitable for conditions of sufficient and unstable moisture. Soil temperature at planting should not be lower than 9°C, ensuring optimal conditions for germination and plant development.

Corn S4210 plants have a semi-erectoid type, height ranging from 275 to 350 cm, with ear attachment height of 95-110 cm. The ear contains 16-20 rows of kernels, with 35-45 kernels per row, totaling 560-770 kernels per ear. The hybrid exhibits high resistance to various stresses: tolerance to Fusarium, resistance to root and stalk lodging, cold tolerance, and resistance to gray leaf spot are rated at 9 points, drought tolerance at 7 points. Initial growth energy is also high — 8 points, promoting rapid plant development.

Recommended planting density for harvest varies depending on moisture conditions: 65-70 thousand plants per hectare under sufficient moisture, 55-65 thousand under unstable conditions. Green mass yield at 70% moisture reaches high levels, for example, across various regions of Ukraine it ranges from 47.4 to 72.8 tons per hectare. All these characteristics make hybrid S4210 a reliable choice for producing high-quality silage with stable productivity.
