Maize 4111C

Harvest Stability and Pathogen Defense

The 4111C corn hybrid by Monsanto is a strategic choice for operations prioritizing risk mitigation. Amidst climate variability and high infection pressure, selecting this hybrid safeguards crops against Fusarium, which is critical for maintaining grain quality and marketability.

Agronomic Management and Sowing Density

This dent-type hybrid is designed specifically for grain production. Its 120–140 day maturity cycle places it in the medium-maturity category, allowing for flexible harvest planning tailored to specific climatic zones.

Field experience confirms that adjusting planting density is the key to maximizing yield potential:

• 50,000–60,000 plants/ha: Recommended for regions with limited moisture, where reducing competition for resources is essential.
• 65,000–70,000 plants/ha: Optimal for well-watered regions or under irrigation to fully exploit the genetic yield potential of the ear.

The Advantage of 4111C

The primary advantage of 4111C is its robust resistance to corn Fusarium. This is not merely a technical specification but a practical protection tool for farms with intensive crop rotation, where soil-borne pathogens can be a persistent threat. By choosing this hybrid, agronomists gain predictable grain quality that requires less aggressive drying and offers better storage stability, streamlining both logistics and supply chain efficiency.
