RGT Veluxxo maize is a mid-early hybrid with a dent kernel type, designed for high-quality grain production. The hybrid is characterized by high yield and stability, especially under drought conditions, making it an optimal choice for cultivation in various climatic zones of Ukraine, including the Polesie, Forest-Steppe, and Steppe regions. Seeds are supplied in packages of 50,000 units and are treated with Redigo M and Poncho, enriched with micronutrients Sidnerji, ensuring reliable protection and improved plant emergence.
RGT Veluxxo features a strong harvest architecture, developed through high plasticity and adaptability to growing conditions. The hybrid demonstrates excellent response to increased planting density, allowing maximum yield potential to be realized. High thousand-grain weight, reaching 340–360 grams, is maintained even under severe drought. Plants have medium height, and the kernels are dent-shaped with row counts ranging from 16 to 18 rows and 32–36 kernels per row.
The agronomic performance of the hybrid is at a high level: initial growth rates, cold tolerance, drought resistance, and fusarium resistance are rated 9 out of 9. Recommended sowing dates vary from 8 to 14 °C, providing flexibility in agronomic practices. Optimal plant density at harvest depends on the growing region and ranges from 35 to 66 thousand plants per hectare. The hybrid is suitable for cultivation both in monoculture and under minimal soil tillage, making it a versatile and economically advantageous solution for farmers.
