Operational Performance and Grain Quality

With a maturity cycle of 120-140 days, RGT Boxer fits perfectly into our harvest planning. Its flint-dent grain type provides the ideal balance between grain quality and moisture loss efficiency, which helps us cut down on drying costs. During harvest, the grain handles well, and we’ve noticed minimal issues with dockage, thanks to its genetic resistance to Fusarium ear rot.

Seeding Density and Field Management

The flexibility of RGT Boxer is a major advantage. Depending on the soil profile and expected moisture levels, we adjust our seeding density within the 45,000 to 70,000 plants per hectare range:

• High-Yield Zones: We aim for 65,000–70,000 plants/ha to fully utilize soil fertility.
• Stress-Prone Areas: We scale back to 45,000–55,000 plants/ha, allowing each plant enough space to thrive without excessive competition.
