Maize DKC4031

Stable Yields Even in Challenging Conditions

When you enter the field with DKS4031, you immediately realize: this is a hybrid for those who don't want to gamble with the weather. Under standard agricultural conditions, this representative of the Monsanto line behaves predictably. The dent-type grain loses moisture perfectly during ripening, which for the owner means savings on drying costs — a significant benefit at the end of the season.

Agronomic Features and Protection

The main headache for corn growers is Fusarium. DKS4031 feels confident here. Monsanto's breeding provides real resistance to fungal infection, preserving yield potential where other hybrids begin to struggle. During the 120-140 day vegetation period, the plant manages to build biomass and form a full ear without requiring complex protective measures.

Sowing Practices

The optimal strategy for this hybrid is a density of 65-75 thousand plants/ha. When using a planter, uniformity is key — the hybrid responds well to precise placement. The well-developed root system allows the plant to stand tall until harvest, eliminating the risk of lodging even during late-season collection.

• Usage: Grain production.
• Maturity: 120-140 days.
• Grain type: Dent.
• Resistance: High threshold for Fusarium resistance.

For any farming operation, this is a workhorse. You get even, well-filled ears and grain that threshes easily, causing no extra trouble during transportation or cleaning at the facility.
