Maize DN Letava

A reliable grain choice for sustainable farming

DN Letava is a mid-season corn variety developed by the Institute of Grain Crops of the NAAS. Designed specifically for grain production, this variety is a practical solution for farmers prioritizing crop health and production stability in Ukrainian soil and climatic conditions.

Key operational benefits

• Enhanced disease resistance: Built-in tolerance to helminthosporiosis and common smut significantly reduces the need for frequent fungicide applications.
• Cost-effective cultivation: As a variety, it provides consistency and predictable performance, helping to stabilize input costs throughout the growing season.
• Optimized grain harvest: The focus on grain usage means the variety demonstrates efficient moisture loss during maturity, which simplifies harvesting and post-harvest drying logistics.

Farmers opting for DN Letava benefit from a crop that is naturally adapted to regional challenges. By choosing this variety, agricultural producers can focus on standard management practices without the constant threat of major fungal outbreaks. It is a robust option for those seeking to maximize yield quality while keeping risk management simple and effective.
