Realli CS

Realli CS corn hybrid is a mid-late maturing grain variety with high yield potential reaching 169 c/ha, making it a leader in its maturity group. The hybrid's grain is used not only for feed but also for starch production with up to 79% content. Realli CS is characterized by adaptability and suited to various soil types and cultivation technologies, including the preferred No-Till technology, which minimizes soil tillage. Optimal planting dates depend on soil warming to required temperatures at seed depth, promoting good early plant development. Plants reach an average height of about 300 cm, with strong, leaf-covered stems slightly deviating from vertical. The ear is positioned at approximately 110 cm above soil surface, fully filled with dent kernels including the tip, and securely wrapped in a husk that weakens upon maturation, aiding in reducing grain moisture. Leaves are broad, slightly curved, with a small angle between leaf blade and stem. The flowering tassel has medium density with anthocyanic root and silk coloration of weak intensity. Kernels are yellow, dent-shaped, evenly distributed on the ear. Realli CS is included in the State Register for the North Caucasus region and demonstrates resistance to southern helminthosporium, weak infection by common smut, and moderate infection by stalk rot. However, it shows high susceptibility to corn borer. Average yield in the region is 46.4 c/ha, 16.8% higher than the standard, with maximum yields up to 77.7 c/ha. Grain moisture at harvest is about 21%, lower than standard. The hybrid is suitable for cultivation in arid regions with adequate moisture, ensuring stable and high yields with proper agronomic practices.
