The ear is medium or long, cylindrical in shape, with thin or medium thickness and medium or long stalk. The grain has an intermediate type, closer to dent, with orange coloring of the upper and lower parts. Anthocyanin coloring of various parts of the plant, including the sheath of the first leaf, roots, glumes, and silk, is weak or absent, which is a characteristic feature of this hybrid. The vegetation period of POLESSKII 111 is 132 days, which is 3 days longer than the standard indicator. The flowering time of the ear varies from early to medium, with ears having medium density and forming the main axis of the ear, which is higher than the long upper lateral branch. The primary lateral branches of the ear are long, straight or slightly curved, with their number at an average level. Such morphological features ensure good yield formation and hybrid stability under the conditions of the Volga-Vyatka region. The average grain yield of POLESSKII 111 in the Volga-Vyatka region reached 39.3 c/ha, which is 67.2% higher than the standard indicator. The maximum yield was obtained at Bolshебoldinsky GSCU in the Nizhny Novgorod region in 2018. The grain moisture at harvest is on average 36%, which is 2% lower than the standard level, facilitating subsequent processing and storage. Due to its characteristics and stable productivity, the hybrid POLESSKII 111 is a reliable choice for grain production under suitable climatic conditions.
