Corn Polesky 177 MV is an early-maturing variety with FAO 170, developed and recommended for cultivation in the Polesie, forest-steppe, and steppe regions. This variety was registered in 2004 by the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine and is primarily intended for grain use. Thanks to its early maturity, which takes approximately 62-89 days from the appearance of true leaves to the first ear, Polesky 177 MV enables farmers to harvest a full yield within a short timeframe, which is especially important for regions with a short growing season.
The variety demonstrates good adaptability to various climatic conditions, making it suitable for cultivation in different agroclimatic zones of Ukraine. Early corn varieties, to which Polesky 177 MV belongs, tolerate transplanting well and can be grown under agrofiber, which improves seedling conditions and increases yield. These varieties are characterized by high resistance to stress factors and can successfully develop even under adverse weather conditions.
Polesky 177 MV is distinguished by stable productivity and is suitable for farms focused on producing high-quality grain. Its early maturity allows effective application of agronomic practices and optimization of harvest timing. This variety is a reliable choice for farmers aiming to achieve high yields in the Polesie region and surrounding areas.
