Corn P91052

Field Strategy of P91052: Adaptability in Unstable Climates

The Austrian breeding program of Corteva Agriscience presents the P91052 hybrid, registered in Ukraine in 2026, focusing on predictable performance under stressful conditions. This F1 corn hybrid is designed as a tool for agronomists operating in regions prone to extreme temperature fluctuations.

Stress Tolerance and Standability

The key feature of P91052 is its ability to maintain metabolic activity during moisture deficits. Unlike many intensive hybrids that suffer under peak temperatures, P91052 demonstrates high drought tolerance, allowing it to form well-filled ears even with limited water availability during critical growth stages. The hybrid's stalk possesses high structural integrity, minimizing lodging risks during strong winds and late-season rainfall, which simplifies harvesting and reduces grain loss.

Phytosanitary Profile

Breeders have placed significant emphasis on resistance to pathogens common in European growing regions. P91052 shows stable resistance to major fungal corn diseases, reducing the need for fungicide applications and allowing the canopy to remain healthy until physiological maturity. This is critical for effective grain filling and ensuring high-quality yields.

Regional Suitability

Due to its high plasticity, this hybrid optimally realizes its potential in the Steppe and Forest-Steppe zones of Ukraine. It responds excellently to high-input management while maintaining yield stability even under moderate intensity farming. P91052 is the choice for those seeking a balance between crop protection against climatic risks and high returns per hectare.
