Corn RGT KOLBIXX

Field Performance and Adaptability

RGT KOLBIXX is a 2025 release from RAGT 2n, specifically engineered for intensive grain production. As a simple hybrid with an FAO rating of 320, it offers a balanced growth strategy tailored to modern climatic challenges. The flint-dent grain type ensures high test weight, while the plant's genetic architecture is designed to mitigate risks under unpredictable weather conditions.

Stress Tolerance and Phytosanitary Profile

The hybrid's standout feature is the synergy between high yield potential and reliable dry-down. In the field, RGT KOLBIXX demonstrates excellent resilience to heat stress: the plant manages its water balance efficiently, which is vital for regions prone to summer droughts. A robust root system and sturdy stalk provide strong lodging resistance, even during delayed harvesting, allowing agronomists greater flexibility in their field operations.

• Heat Tolerance: High level of adaptation to elevated temperatures during the flowering stage.
• Phytosanitary Status: RAGT 2n breeding focuses on tolerance to major maize pathogens, reducing the reliance on intensive fungicide applications.
• Growing Regions: Ideally suited for regions requiring a balance between early vigor and rapid grain moisture loss.

By selecting this hybrid, producers gain a predictable performance on high-input fields, backed by the stability inherent in French F1 breeding programs.
