Maize P86010

The P86010 corn hybrid is an early-maturing hybrid with a dent kernel type, developed using Optimum® AQUAmax® technology, which provides synergy between early maturity and high yield. The plants of this hybrid are tall with strong ear attachment, contributing to resistance against stalk and root lodging. The hybrid exhibits high stress tolerance, known as the stay-green effect, allowing it to maintain leaf greenness and photosynthetic activity during maturation.

P86010 is distinguished by excellent water-use efficiency and high drought tolerance, making it suitable for cultivation under varying moisture conditions. The hybrid has resistance to common diseases rated at level 6 out of 9 and is supplied treated for protection against diseases associated with monoculture. It is recommended to plant this hybrid at optimal and late planting dates, avoiding early planting and late harvest, to preserve the advantages of early maturity.

The P86010 hybrid is suitable for both grain and ethanol production. It is well-adapted for monoculture and minimal soil tillage. The recommended plant density under adequate moisture is 70-75 thousand plants per hectare, and under limited moisture — 65-70 thousand. For effective cultivation, apply post-emergence herbicides strictly according to crop development stages and avoid late harvest to prevent reducing the hybrid’s potential.
