Description P82703
Corn hybrid P82703 belongs to the early-maturing group with FAO 240 and is characterized by dent-type grain. This simple hybrid is distinguished by high plant vigor and strong ear attachment, contributing to resistance against stalk lodging. The hybrid is intended for dual use — grain and silage — making it a versatile choice for various agronomic tasks.

One of the key advantages of hybrid P82703 is its high drought tolerance and excellent water use efficiency, ensuring maximum effective utilization of available soil moisture. The hybrid exhibits high resistance to root lodging, Helminthosporium, and corn diseases, as well as a high level of resistance to stalk diseases (6-8 out of 9 points). Seeds are treated using Optimum® AQUAmax® technology, which additionally protects plants from diseases associated with monoculture.

Early planting is not recommended; planting should be conducted at optimal times to achieve the best results. The hybrid is well-suited for monoculture cultivation, but is not recommended for minimum tillage or late harvest. Recommended plant population under adequate moisture conditions is 75-90 thousand plants per hectare, and 65-70 thousand under limited moisture. Herbicides should be applied post-emergence strictly according to crop development stages.
