Maize Oleshkivskyi

The Oleshkivskyi corn hybrid belongs to innovative varieties adapted to the conditions of the Northern Steppe of Ukraine. Studies show that this hybrid has high homeostatic stability of biometric indicators, ensuring stable growth and development of plants under varying sowing dates and weather conditions. This trait allows the hybrid to maintain yield even under adverse factors such as soil moisture deficit in spring.

A distinctive feature of the Oleshkivskyi hybrid is its high correlation between plant biometric indicators, such as plant height and ear attachment height, and grain yield. This allows using these indicators as markers for predicting yield in advance, which is a significant advantage for agronomists and farmers when planning planting operations and managing crops.

The hybrid performs best under steppe zone conditions, where soil moisture may be limited. Unlike hybrids with FAO maturity group 380-420, which are more sensitive to late sowing dates and water deficiency, Oleshkivskyi demonstrates resilience and stability, making it a reliable choice for cultivation in challenging climatic conditions of the region.
