Description Amamonte
Corn Amarok 290 is a mid-season simple hybrid with FAO 320, developed for universal use as grain or silage. This hybrid features high yield potential, reaching up to 15.8 tons per hectare, ensuring high profitability. The grain is cream-colored, with a dent-shaped kernel, and plants grow to approximately 270 cm in height with ears positioned at 95-110 cm. The average number of rows per ear is 16-18, and the number of kernels per row is 35-40. Due to its rapid moisture release after maturity, the grain dries easily, reducing harvesting costs.

Hybrid Amarok 290 demonstrates high adaptability to various soil-climate conditions, making it particularly suitable for cultivation in the Polissia, Forest-Steppe, and Steppe regions of Ukraine. It exhibits excellent drought resistance, high cold tolerance, and lodging resistance, ensuring stable yields even under adverse conditions. Additionally, the corn shows high resistance to major diseases such as common rust, fusarium, and helminthosporium, with resistance ratings of 8-9 points.

To achieve maximum yield, it is recommended to maintain optimal plant population before harvest: 80-90 thousand plants per hectare in Polissia, 65-80 thousand in Forest-Steppe, and 60-70 thousand in Steppe. The hybrid’s versatility allows its use for both high-quality grain production and silage with high green mass output. All these characteristics make corn Amarok 290 a reliable and profitable choice for agricultural producers.
