Description NS 2632
Corn NS 2632 is a high-yielding, simple grain-type hybrid, recommended for cultivation in various climatic zones of Ukraine, including the Polissia, forest-steppe, and steppe regions. This medium-early variety with a FAO vegetation period of 240-300 was registered in 2015 and is characterized by its versatility. The hybrid was developed by the Institute of Field Crops and Vegetable Growing in Novi Sad (Serbia).

Corn plants of NS 2632 reach a height of 250-300 cm and are characterized by high drought resistance and very high resistance to lodging, ensuring stable yields under adverse conditions. The ear has a cylindrical shape, approximately 25 cm long, with 14-16 rows of kernels. The kernels are yellow, dent type, with a 1000-kernel weight of 350-400 g. The hybrid demonstrates good genetic potential for grain yield, reaching up to 150 centners per hectare, and also shows good water use efficiency.

Studies have shown that NS 2632 has a high protein content (approximately 9.6%) and is among the best hybrids in terms of yield in the steppe zone. Due to its morphological and agronomic traits, this hybrid adapts well to various growing conditions, enabling its effective use in different agroclimatic zones. NS 2632 is recommended for farms aiming to obtain high-quality grain with good technological characteristics.
