The MAS 39T corn hybrid is a high-yielding mid-season variety designed for high-quality grain production. It features a high 1000-grain weight of 330–360 grams and a large ear with many kernels — 34–40 per row and 14 rows per ear. The hybrid type is simple dent, with a FAO rating of 350, corresponding to a mid-season maturity. Under proper cultivation, the hybrid can yield up to 14 tons per hectare.
MAS 39T exhibits high drought and lodging resistance, making it a reliable choice for cultivation under variable climatic conditions. The hybrid demonstrates good tolerance to common corn diseases, as well as resistance to root and stem lodging during vegetation and stem breakage after maturity, including damage caused by corn borer. It is a remontant type, promoting more complete and uniform grain filling.
The MAS 39T hybrid adapts well to the soil-climate conditions of the Polissia and Steppe regions of Ukraine, and is successfully cultivated in the Black Sea region. It shows high growth energy at the early germination stage, enabling efficient use of soil moisture reserves. Cultivation is recommended using intensive technology with either traditional or minimum tillage. MAS 39T is suitable for intensive agriculture and provides a stable high yield when agronomic requirements are met.
