NK Top corn hybrid is a mid-early simple hybrid with FAO 280, intended for grain and silage production. This hybrid is distinguished by high resistance to frost and drought, ensuring stable growth and development even under adverse climatic conditions. Thanks to its well-developed root system and rapid early vegetative growth, NK Top demonstrates high yield potential up to 12.5 tons per hectare, confirmed by trial results in steppe zones with yields ranging from 70 to 110 c/ha. Plant height reaches 260 cm, ear attachment height is approximately 100 cm, the grain is cream-colored with a dent shape and quick moisture release, facilitating harvesting and reducing storage losses.
The agronomic characteristics of the NK Top hybrid include high initial growth energy, resistance to stress conditions and lodging, as well as good cold tolerance. These traits make it suitable for cultivation in various soil-climate zones, including those with insufficient moisture. Recommended plant population varies depending on moisture conditions: 80-90 thousand plants per hectare under adequate moisture and 60-75 thousand under limited moisture. This adaptability enables efficient use of the hybrid in various agronomic systems.
NK Top is a versatile hybrid combining high yield, resistance to adverse factors, and ease of agronomic management. It is suitable for both grain and silage production, expanding its application potential in agriculture. Rapid moisture release and high drought resistance make this hybrid especially valuable for regions with variable climates and limited water supply.
