Maize MAS 300B

Consistent Grain Yield with French Genetics

Opting for the MAS 300B hybrid by Mas Seeds is a tactical choice for farmers aiming for predictable results in grain corn production. The French breeding program excels here through high adaptability to diverse soil and climate conditions, which is crucial for risk mitigation in areas with volatile moisture levels.

Defensive Potential and Crop Health

The primary advantage of this hybrid is its comprehensive resistance to key pathogens that typically impact annual yields. Mas Seeds breeders have focused heavily on resistance to Fusarium (both ear and stalk rot), as well as loose and head smut. In practical terms, this reduces the need for frequent fungicide applications and ensures grain quality remains intact even during extended wet spells during the maturation phase, preventing losses due to rot.

Agronomic Best Practices

• Grain Type: Dent. This structure facilitates excellent moisture release, allowing for an earlier harvest and lower drying costs at the elevator.
• Planting Density: The hybrid displays peak performance at a density of 60,000–65,000 plants/ha in arid conditions and up to 70,000–75,000 plants/ha on fertile soils with adequate moisture.
• Versatility: As a simple hybrid, it demonstrates stable development and tolerates higher densities without compromising ear biomass.

MAS 300B is favored by those who need a robust tool for stable production: no surprises, a predictable response to mineral fertilization, and strong disease resistance, ultimately driving higher economic margins per hectare.
