MAS 371D

The MAS 371D corn hybrid is a medium-maturing, simple double-line hybrid intended for cultivation in northern and North Caucasus regions. It is included in the State Register for the North Caucasus region and has a vegetation period ranging from 105 to 112 days. Plants are of medium to high height with rounded leaf tips and weak anthocyanic coloring, indicating good adaptation to regional climatic conditions. Tassel flowering occurs early, and silk emergence occurs in early to mid-season, facilitating timely grain formation.

MAS 371D has a dent-type kernel with yellow upper part and yellow-orange lower part. The ear is weakly conical, thick, and of medium length with a short stalk. The height of the upper ear attachment relative to the plant is relatively low, improving resistance to lodging. The hybrid demonstrates high productivity, with average grain yield in the North Caucasus region reaching 52.8 c/ha, and maximum yield reaching 97.5 c/ha. Grain moisture at harvest is approximately 20.8%, facilitating subsequent processing and storage.

A key feature of MAS 371D is high drought and low-temperature tolerance, making it an optimal choice for cultivation in northern and dry areas. The hybrid is also resistant to stalk rot, enhancing the quality and safety of the harvest. To achieve maximum productivity, 940 growing degree days are required from germination to tasseling, and 1850 degree days until full grain maturity. MAS 371D is suitable for both grain and silage production, expanding its application potential in agriculture.
