Maize M-92

Reliable Yields in Challenging Conditions: The M 92 Advantage

In the mid-early corn hybrid segment, the Russian manufacturer RAT offers a solution focused on consistent performance. The M 92 hybrid was engineered as a "workhorse" for farming operations that aim to minimize risk in regions with moderate moisture levels.

Key Advantages

• High Adaptability: The hybrid demonstrates stability across various agro-technical backgrounds, allowing it to compete with premium imported hybrids under intensive farming conditions.
• Grain Productivity Potential: The genetic potential of M 92 is focused on developing well-filled ears with high thousand-kernel weight.
• Stress Tolerance: Due to specific plant architecture, this hybrid is better equipped to withstand the short-term drought periods common during the first half of the growing season.

Who Should Choose This Hybrid

The M 92 from RAT is an optimal choice for farmers working in regions with unpredictable climates. Unlike highly specialized hybrids that demand perfect conditions, M 92 is forgiving of standard agricultural practices. It is a reliable choice for producers whose priority is obtaining commercial-grade grain with excellent moisture dry-down characteristics at harvest. While it may not break irrigation-based yield records, its primary value lies in the high probability of achieving a solid harvest even in an average or difficult year.

Weaknesses and Recommendations

Like any mid-segment hybrid, M 92 requires careful management of plant density. Overcrowding, especially under moisture-deficit conditions, can reduce yield potential. We recommend strictly following the breeder’s seeding rate guidelines to ensure each plant receives adequate nutrients and space for optimal growth.
