Maize Plutor

Stability and Yield Potential in German Genetics

The «Plutor» maize hybrid from the German company Farmsaat is designed for professional farming operations aiming for consistent grain yields and efficient resource management. This hybrid is known for its excellent adaptability to varying soil conditions, making it a reliable choice for diverse crop rotation strategies.

Practical Field Application

• Optimized Harvesting Cycles: A key characteristic of «Plutor» is its fast dry-down rate. This allows producers to harvest earlier, significantly reducing grain drying costs and preventing bottlenecks during peak harvesting periods.
• Technological Flexibility: «Plutor» performs exceptionally well under high-input management but maintains stable results even with moderate fertilizer applications, helping to keep the cost per ton of grain competitive.
• Field Reliability: The hybrid shows robust genetic resistance to common maize diseases, reducing the need for excessive fungicide use. Its strong stalk structure ensures minimal field losses, allowing for flexible harvest timing even under challenging environmental conditions.

Choosing «Plutor» means investing in predictable productivity. It is a field-proven solution that ensures uniform maturity and high-quality grain, suitable for both long-term storage and immediate market sale.
