Maize VP 150 VC

Field performance of the VP 150 VS hybrid

When operating with early-maturing hybrids from the All-Russian Research Institute of Corn, predictability is the primary requirement. The VP 150 VS behaves like a reliable asset that does not demand highly complex agronomic management. It is a forgiving hybrid that copes well even when sowing windows are slightly off, quickly building up vegetative mass.

Harvesting and machinery maintenance

For the combine operator, the uniformity of this hybrid is a significant advantage. The ear is attached at an optimal height, which allows for precise adjustment of the header, minimizing header losses. The rate of moisture loss during maturation is dynamic, which is critical in regions with early autumn frosts. You don't have to wait an extra week to enter the field, which saves both equipment fuel resources and prevents soil compaction.

Operational versatility

The main argument for choosing this hybrid is its flexibility. For farms that need to balance silo production and forage grain, VP 150 VS allows for a tactical shift in strategy based on current market needs. Crop maintenance is straightforward; the hybrid's resistance to lodging keeps the harvesting equipment running smoothly, reducing the risk of downtime caused by jammed machinery components.
