Maize LOR 3688

French breeding for your table

When it comes to sweet corn, the Mas Seeds LOR 3688 stands out for its predictable performance. In the field, this hybrid is stable: it doesn't require complex maintenance, builds vegetative mass quickly, and, most importantly for a grower, reaches maturity predictably. Its early maturity helps minimize risks associated with the unpredictable weather of late summer.

In the field: from sowing to harvest

This intermediate grain type hybrid has excellent germination energy, providing uniform emergence even under less-than-ideal soil conditions. Crucially, the uniformity of cob maturity simplifies harvesting. If you work for the fresh market, you understand the advantage: when the entire field is ready for harvest at once, logistics and distribution become much smoother.

Product Quality

The consumer qualities of the LOR 3688 make it a versatile choice. This is not fodder corn that requires extensive cooking. The grain is tender with a high sugar content. It is ideal both for direct supply to retail chains and for processing into salads or frozen vegetable mixes. The cobs have a high market value, with tight husks that help retain grain moisture after cutting.

• Stable early harvest.
• High organoleptic properties for the fresh market.
• Resistance to stress factors during early planting.

Crop maintenance is straightforward, focusing on standard pest control and timely irrigation. The LOR 3688 is not demanding, allowing you to focus on achieving maximum marketable yield per hectare.
