LEADER 155 SV is an early-maturing three-row hybrid corn (Zea mays L.) intended for cultivation in the Central and Volga regions. It is included in the State Register of Selection Achievements and recommended for use both for silage and grain. The plant is characterized by high yield and adaptability to various climatic conditions, making it a versatile choice for farmers. The hybrid's vegetation period is approximately 113 days, slightly exceeding standard indicators, and the grain moisture level at harvest is 29.7%. The hybrid exhibits high agronomic characteristics: tall plants with medium-width leaves, cylindrical ears of medium length and thickness, with long stalks and moderate row numbers. Grain is dent-shaped, with yellow-orange coloring on upper and lower parts. A distinctive feature of the variety is strong anthocyanin pigmentation of the ear stalk, as well as weak or absent pigmentation of leaf sheaths and silk. The tassel flowers early, with medium-density tassels and characteristic anthocyanin pigmentation of the bracts. LEADER 155 SV demonstrates good drought resistance and effective water release, contributing to stable yields on various soil types. The average grain yield in the Volga region reaches 57 c/ha, with maximum yields up to 74.3 c/ha. For silage, the hybrid shows high performance — the average yield of normalized dry matter in the Central region is 111.1 c/ha, with maximum values reaching 511 c/ha. The hybrid is moderately susceptible to stalk rot, requiring adherence to agronomic measures to prevent diseases.
