BARCELOS

BARCELOS is an early-maturing three-line hybrid corn (Zea mays L.) intended for cultivation in the Central and Volga regions. It is characterized by moderate resistance to stalk rot, which contributes to a stable yield and reduced losses during storage. The hybrid’s maturity period is early, enabling the harvest of grain and silage in a short time, which is especially important for regions with a limited growing season.

The hybrid BARCELOS has a sufficiently high yield: in the Central region, the average grain yield is about 74.9 c/ha, and in the Volga region — 63.9 c/ha, with maximum yields reaching 92.0 c/ha. These results make this hybrid attractive for farmers focused on obtaining high-quality grain and silage. Due to its characteristics, BARCELOS is suitable for various uses, including feed production and grain for food purposes.
