Ladogsky 250 MV is a mid-early corn hybrid of the grain type with FAO 250, characterized by high yield and adaptability to various growing conditions. Plants reach a height of about 265 cm, with ears having a length of 85 cm at the attachment point, containing 16 rows of kernels, with 40 kernels per row. The 1000-kernel weight is 290 g, indicating large kernel size and high-quality yield. The hybrid has a dent type of kernel with yellow-orange coloring on the upper part, as well as medium to strong anthocyanin coloring on the ear stalk.

Ladogsky 250 MV exhibits high resistance to major corn diseases, including gray leaf spot, stalk rot, bacterial blight, smut, and Fusarium ear rot, and is moderately resistant to damage by the corn borer. It tolerates drought and prolonged heat well, making it a reliable choice for various climatic zones. The plant shows good ear pollination and responds well to fertilizers, contributing to stable and high yields.

Recommended planting density varies depending on soil moisture: 70-75 thousand plants per hectare under sufficient moisture, and 60-70 thousand under insufficient moisture. The hybrid’s potential yield reaches 125 centners per hectare, confirmed by record yields in various cultivation regions, including the Central Black Earth, North Caucasus, and Lower Volga regions. Ladogsky 250 MV offers economic advantage, as cultivation costs are significantly lower compared to imported hybrids, while matching them in quality and productivity.
