LADOGSKY 201 MV

LADOGSKY 201 MV is a mid-early simple hybrid of corn (Zea mays L.) intended for cultivation as grain or silage. The plant is characterized by medium to high growth, narrow slightly curved leaves with a small angle between the leaf blade and stem. The ear is long with a short stalk and a large number of rows of kernels, which have a toothed type and yellow-orange coloration on the upper part. The vegetative period of the hybrid is about 110 days, which corresponds to the average level for this maturity group. The LADOGSKY 201 MV hybrid demonstrates high yield: in the Central Chernozem region, the average grain yield reached 49.8 centners per hectare, which is 7.8% higher than the standard, and the maximum yield was 150.4 centners per hectare. In the Volga-Vyatka region, the average yield of normalized dry matter was 67.7 centners per hectare, which is 5.3% higher than the standard level. The content of dry matter in the grain is about 27.6%, which also exceeds standard indicators. The moisture content at harvest is at the level of 29.8%, which contributes to maintaining the quality of the harvest. The hybrid is characterized by resistance to major corn diseases: in field conditions, there was no infection by blister head, gray mold, and ear fusarium, and bacterial disease is mild. Damage by the corn borer is assessed as moderate. The seeds of LADOGSKY 201 MV are certified and comply with GOST 52325-2005, confirming their quality and suitability for cultivation under various climatic conditions.
