LADOGSKY 202

Ladogsky 202 is an early-maturing corn hybrid intended for both grain and silage production. Plants reach a height of approximately 270 cm, have large kernels with a 1000-kernel weight of about 310 g. The ear is weakly conical, long, with medium-sized diameter, and the kernel type is intermediate, closer to dent, with yellow coloration. The hybrid is characterized by good dry matter content and stable yield across various climatic conditions, making it suitable for cultivation in different regions of Russia.

The vegetation period is approximately 127 days, allowing the hybrid to thrive in Central, Volga-Vyatka, Middle Volga, Lower Volga, Ural, West Siberian, and Far Eastern regions. Recommended planting density varies depending on soil moisture: 75-85 thousand plants per hectare under sufficient moisture, and 60-70 thousand plants per hectare under insufficient moisture. Best preceding crops are black fallow, and optimal planting time is late April.

Ladogsky 202 hybrid is distinguished by high yield: in the Central region, average grain yield reaches 98.4 c/ha, maximum — 136 c/ha, and in the Volga-Vyatka region — 69.9 c/ha on average. For silage in the Ural and West Siberian regions, yield is respectively 65.1 c/ha and 67.5 c/ha with high dry matter content. The hybrid is certified and can be additionally treated with insecticide for pest protection, ensuring reliable and high-quality harvest.
