Description KWS KASHMIR
KWS Kashmir — a high-yielding, adaptable corn hybrid with FAO 380, suitable for both intensive and extensive cultivation. It is especially recommended for irrigated agriculture, which allows maximum expression of its genetic potential. Plants reach a height of 280–290 cm, with the ear positioned at 100–110 cm. The grain is dent-shaped, large, with a 1000-grain weight of 340–350 g, arranged in 16–18 rows, with 37–39 grains per row. The hybrid exhibits very rapid water shedding, facilitating harvest and improving grain quality.

The yield potential of KWS Kashmir reaches 19 tons of grain per hectare, due to its high adaptability and plasticity under various growing conditions. The hybrid is resistant to lodging, drought, and exhibits high resistance to corn borer, helminthosporium, stalk rot, and blister rust. Thanks to these traits, it demonstrates stable performance in central regions of Ukraine, particularly in the forest-steppe zone.

To achieve maximum productivity, it is recommended to maintain optimal plant density depending on soil moisture levels: 45–75 thousand plants per hectare. Also beneficial is zinc fertilization to increase grain number per ear. KWS Kashmir combines high yield, resistance to adverse factors, and rapid growth, making it an advantageous choice for modern agricultural enterprises.
