Sugarcane corn KVS 381 is a high-yielding, plastic hybrid with FAO 350 and medium-late maturity. This hybrid features a dent kernel type and a remontant plant type with erect leaves, providing good compensatory ability and adaptability to various growing conditions. KVS 381 is suitable for use as grain, silage, and biogas feedstock, making it a versatile choice for agricultural enterprises.

The agronomic characteristics of the hybrid include medium water shedding, high drought tolerance, and lodging resistance, enabling cultivation under both intensive and extensive technologies. Plants reach a height of 290-300 cm, with ear attachment height of 110-120 cm. Ears form 14-16 rows of kernels, with 36-40 kernels per row, and 1000-kernel weight of 350-360 g, indicating the hybrid’s large kernel size.

The yield potential of KVS 381 is high: up to 16 tons of grain and up to 80 tons of green mass per hectare. The recommended plant population at harvest varies depending on soil moisture levels — from 70-80 thousand plants per hectare under adequate moisture to 45-50 thousand under insufficient moisture.
