The corn hybrid KWS 4484 is a stable, semi-early, grain-type hybrid with erectoid leaf type and dent kernel type. This medium-maturing hybrid is characterized by high drought tolerance and good compensation ability, enabling it to thrive under various climatic conditions, including forest-steppe and steppe regions. Grain yield potential reaches 18 tons per hectare, and rapid moisture release facilitates timely harvest.

The plants of this hybrid reach a height of 290-300 cm, with ear attachment height of 100-110 cm. The grain structure features 14-16 rows of kernels, each containing 35-39 kernels. The 1000-kernel weight is 290-320 grams, and grain yield reaches 83-84%. The recommended plant population at harvest varies depending on moisture availability: 65-75 thousand per hectare in well-watered zones and 55-65 thousand per hectare under moisture-limited conditions.

The KWS 4484 hybrid possesses genetic resistance to several diseases, including peronosporosis, fusarium, and rust, ensuring stable yields and reducing the risk of losses. For successful cultivation, planting is recommended at soil temperatures between 10 and 12 degrees Celsius on loose, mineral-fertilized soils.
