KRAZNOYARSKIY 205 AMV — this is a medium to mid-early maturing corn hybrid, intended for grain and silage production. The plant is characterized by high stature and broad leaves, and the ears have a cylindrical shape with a length up to 25 cm and an average number of rows of kernels (16-18). The kernels are dent-shaped, with an orange upper part and yellow lower part, and the 1000-kernel weight is approximately 300 grams. The vegetation period varies from 114 to 123 days, corresponding to FAO 250-290, which allows the hybrid to successfully adapt to various climatic conditions. The hybrid exhibits good resistance to a range of diseases, including gray leaf spot and ear smut, as well as moderate resistance to stalk borer and ear fungus. However, it is susceptible to bacterial wilt and ear rot. Additionally, KRAZNOYARSKIY 205 AMV demonstrates high drought resistance, making it suitable for cultivation in areas with insufficient moisture. The recommended planting density is 75-80 thousand plants per hectare, which promotes optimal growth and high productivity. The hybrid is successfully grown in various regions, including the North Caucasus, Central Chernozem, and Lower Volga regions, as well as suitable for the Polissia, Forest-Steppe, and Steppe zones of Ukraine. Grain yield varies depending on region and growing conditions: in the Central Chernozem region, average yield reaches 80.6 c/ha, in the North Caucasus — 50.5-61.0 c/ha, and in the Lower Volga — about 39.5 c/ha. The potential yield may reach up to 11 tons per hectare, making this hybrid an attractive choice for farmers focused on high productivity and resistance to adverse factors.
