Maize KR 7024 MV

Early Harvest Strategy: The SH2 Advantage

For growers focusing on the fresh produce market, the KR 7024 MV hybrid offers a strategic edge: early maturity combined with the premium appeal of bicolored kernels. Belonging to the SH2 (supersweet) category, this hybrid is designed to meet modern consumer demand for both visual uniqueness and exceptional sweetness.

Agronomic Performance and Field Management

Developed by the Kubanzerno Research and Production Association and the Lukyanenko National Grain Center, this hybrid is engineered for stability. When incorporating KR 7024 MV into your crop rotation, consider these primary operational focuses:

• Fresh Market Supply: Its distinct bicolored kernels and consistent ear quality make it a high-value product for retail chains and direct farm sales.
• Processing Sector: Excellent sugar retention and structural integrity make this hybrid suitable for both freezing and canning, ensuring a premium output.

Because of its SH2 nature, the hybrid requires strict adherence to soil temperature guidelines at planting to ensure strong emergence. Growers should prioritize fields with reliable irrigation systems; consistent water supply is the key to maximizing the kernel tenderness and sugar levels that characterize this superior variety. With its high initial vigor, KR 7024 MV establishes quickly, allowing for efficient timing of subsequent agronomic operations and a predictable, early-season harvest.
