Maize Jokary CS

French Breeding Excellence for High Yield

The «Jokari CS» hybrid from the renowned French breeder Caussade Semences is a versatile choice for farmers focusing on both grain production and high-quality silage. As a simple hybrid with an FAO of 240, it shows excellent plasticity, allowing for successful cultivation across diverse climatic zones.

Key Advantages and Resilience

The main strength of this hybrid is the synergy between high starch content (57%) and a robust phytosanitary profile. Unlike many alternatives, «Jokari CS» offers significant resistance to common corn pathogens:

• High tolerance to fusarium (ear and stalk rot);
• Reduced risk of common smut;
• Effective barrier against helminthosporium.

The flint-dent grain type ensures an optimal balance between moisture release speed and grain filling. This predictability helps producers minimize post-harvest processing costs and streamline harvesting operations.

Practical Management Tips

To maximize the genetic potential of this Caussade Semences hybrid, a target harvest density of 75,000–80,000 plants per hectare is recommended. «Jokari CS» is best suited for farms seeking a reliable balance between silage feed value and commercial grain yield. It is forgiving of minor technological variations, maintaining stability even under moderate disease pressure.
