The KOLETIS corn hybrid is a mid-early grain variety with high yield potential, reaching up to 16 tons per hectare. The plants feature a reed-like stem type with erect leaves, which promotes effective water release and drought resistance. Plant height ranges from 260 to 280 cm, with ears forming at a height of 80-100 cm above the soil surface. The grain is large, toothed or siliceous, with a 1000-grain weight of 310-330 grams, ensuring a high milling yield of 82-84%. The KOLETIS hybrid is characterized by its adaptability and plasticity to various soil-climatic conditions, including sandy soils. It is cold-resistant during early development stages and well-tolerates summer heat and drought due to its robust root system, which ensures stable nutrient and water supply for the plants, as well as prevents lodging and stem breakage. This makes the hybrid suitable for both intensive and extensive cultivation technologies. The recommended plant density varies depending on soil moisture levels: 75-90 thousand plants per hectare in well-watered areas, and 60-70 thousand per hectare in drier conditions. This adjustment allows for optimized yield and grain quality across different agro-climatic conditions, making KOLETIS a reliable choice for grain production.
