KSS 3200 — a mid-early corn hybrid developed by the company «Rosagrotrade» based on advanced experience and parental components from the French company RAGT SEMENCES. This hybrid belongs to the FAO maturity group 200–220 and is intended for cultivation for grain and silage, making it a versatile solution for various agrotechnical conditions. KSS 3200 is included in the State Register for the Central Black Earth, Volga, and Lower Volga regions, confirming its adaptability and high productivity in these areas.
The grain of the hybrid has a cream-toothed type with yellow-orange coloring on the upper and lower parts. The ear forms 12 to 16 rows, with the number of kernels per row varying from 26 to 34. The 1000-kernel weight is 300–320 grams, indicating large kernel size and high-quality yield. The recommended planting density depends on growing conditions: under dry conditions, the optimal density is 60–65 thousand plants per hectare, while in more favorable conditions — 80–90 thousand.
The yield of KSS 3200 is characterized by stability and high productivity. In various regions, it reaches 45.4 to 112 centners per hectare, with the maximum grain yield recorded at 149.9 centners per hectare (15.0 tons per hectare) at Bekovsky GCU in Penza Oblast. Such performance makes the hybrid attractive for farmers seeking high-quality corn yields, both for grain and silage.
