Hanni corn is a medium-early hybrid of sweet corn type SH2, developed in Japan. The plant reaches a height of 150 to 180 cm, with a strong stem that effectively resists lodging under wind pressure. This hybrid is highly adaptable to various climatic conditions, tolerating both cold and heat, and is easy to grow, making it suitable for open ground.
Hanni corn ears have a cylindrical shape, length from 25 to 31 cm, and weight of about 370-400 grams. The kernels are bright yellow, shiny, tender, and very sweet, closely packed together to form 12-16 rows. The fruit quality is high, with uniform texture and complete kernel filling up to the top of the ear. With proper nutrition, the plant can form up to four ears, but it is optimal to leave two to achieve the best results.
Hanni corn is intended for fresh consumption and processing, including canning. Thanks to its taste qualities and market appearance, it retains freshness and appeal for a long time after harvest. This hybrid combines high yield, excellent taste, and resistance to adverse conditions, making it an excellent choice for farmers and gardeners.
