Maize GW3378

Sweet corn GW3378 is a high-yielding hybrid with excellent resistance to lodging and drought conditions. Plants reach a height of 270 to 330 cm, with ears positioned at 120-125 cm and 25-27 cm in length. The kernels are orange, dent-type, arranged in 16-18 rows. The hybrid features a well-developed root system and high tolerance to major corn diseases such as Stewart's and Fusarium.

The maturity period is 118-122 days, allowing this variety to be used in various climatic conditions. A distinctive feature of GW3378 is the pronounced stay green effect — leaves remain green even after the physiological maturity of the kernels, which promotes better nutrient accumulation and increased yield. The hybrid exhibits rapid water release and excellent earliness, making it particularly suitable for silage, starch, and methane production in high-yield zones.

For optimal cultivation, it is recommended to maintain a specific plant population: 62,000-64,000 plants per hectare on non-irrigated land, and 80,000-85,000 plants per hectare on irrigated land. This approach ensures maximum yield potential and resilience to adverse conditions. GW3378 is a modern hybrid with high potential, designed for efficient feed production and adapted to various agronomic conditions.
