Hybrid sweet corn GW0008 is intended for grain and silage production, ideally suited for the Forest and Forest-Steppe zones of Ukraine, and can also be used in Russia. Plants reach a height of 180-200 cm, with an ear length of 18-20 cm positioned at a height of 70-90 cm. The ear contains 14-16 rows of yellow, flint-type kernels with a red cob. The hybrid exhibits good field seed germination, rapid early growth, and high initial development rate, ensuring effective use of winter soil moisture.

Plants possess a well-developed root system and high resistance to lodging, contributing to stable yields. The hybrid demonstrates good tolerance to cold and dry growing conditions, as well as resistance to major corn diseases. Due to its stay-green trait, plants maintain green mass for an extended period, positively affecting silage and grain quality. In non-irrigated conditions, the recommended planting density is 70,000-80,000 plants per hectare, while under irrigation — 95,000-105,000 plants per hectare.

GW0008 shows good water efficiency after husk opening, facilitating harvesting and crop processing. The hybrid is well-adapted to various climatic conditions in the forest-steppe zone, ensuring stable and high-quality yields for both grain and silage.
