GOLDEN CORN 143 MV

The corn hybrid 'Golden Corn 143 MV' is an early-maturing variety intended for universal use, both for grain and silage. It is distinguished by high drought and cold resistance, enabling successful cultivation in various climatic zones, including the Northwestern, Central, Volga-Vyatka, Middle Volga, West Siberian, and East Siberian regions. Plants reach a height of 170-200 cm, and the 1000-grain weight is 250-280 g, indicating good yield and grain quality. Average yield varies by region and ranges from 37.4 to 79.6 c/ha. The dry matter content in the grain reaches 34%, ensuring high nutritional value.

The corn ear has a cylindrical shape, 10-20 cm long, and weighs about 200 g. The kernels are orange-yellow, and in the milk-wool ripening stage, they possess excellent taste qualities and high vitamin, macro- and microelement content. Due to these characteristics, the hybrid is suitable not only for feed purposes but also for table consumption and canning. The recommended sowing rate is 80-90 thousand plants per hectare under adequate moisture and 60-70 thousand under dry conditions, with a sowing depth of about 4 cm and row spacing of 70×50 cm.
