ES MOSQUITO

ES Mosquito — a high-yielding triple-cross hybrid of seed corn, belonging to the mid-season group (FAO-350). Developed within the modern Roots Power™ breeding program, it provides plants with a well-developed and strong root system. Thanks to this, the hybrid better absorbs soil moisture and nutrients, contributing to stable yields across various soil-climate conditions, including the Polissya, forest-steppe, and steppe zones of Ukraine. The average stem length reaches 310 cm, and the long ear contains 16-18 rows of kernels. The 1000-kernel weight is approximately 325 grams.

The hybrid exhibits high plasticity and resistance to temperature fluctuations, along with good compensatory ability and rapid moisture release during grain maturation. ES Mosquito demonstrates high cold tolerance and regenerative capacity, allowing it to grow successfully under diverse conditions. It is tolerant to common corn diseases such as stalk rot, downy mildew, and helminthosporium, significantly reducing the risk of yield losses.

Recommended planting densities vary depending on the region’s moisture level: 65-70 thousand plants per hectare in well-watered areas and 55-60 thousand per hectare under moisture-deficient conditions. Seeds are supplied treated with fungicide-insecticide and growth regulator, providing additional protection and stimulating plant development. The average yield of the hybrid reaches 92 centners per hectare, confirming its high productivity and adaptability.
