Era MS

Hybrid corn Era MS (MS Blend) is a medium-early modified variety with FAO 290, intended for cultivation as grain or silage. Plants reach a height of about 220 cm, with ears attached at a height of approximately 90-110 cm. The ear has a cylindrical or conical shape, averaging 19-22 cm in length, with 12-16 rows of kernels. Kernels are dent-shaped, yellow with an orange base, with a thousand-kernel weight ranging from 220 to 280 grams. Grain yield at harvest ranges from 78% to 85%, and starch content reaches 74%.

The hybrid exhibits high intensity of grain drying after reaching physiological maturity, significantly reducing drying costs. Leaves have a semi-erect orientation, and anthocyanin pigmentation of stems and leaf parts is weak to moderate. The plant shows good resistance to various diseases and stress factors, including gray leaf spot, corn borer, drought, and cold tolerance, with ratings on a 9-point scale from 7 to 9. Additionally, the hybrid demonstrates high resistance to lodging both at physiological maturity and 30 days after.

Era MS is well-adapted to diverse soil-climate conditions, particularly the Northern Steppe of Ukraine, and can maintain stable yields up to 14 tons per hectare. The hybrid’s versatility allows its use for both high-quality grain and silage production, making it an advantageous choice for farmers seeking high productivity and reliable crops.
