Maize Enya 220 SV

Practical Insights on "Eney 220 SV"

When it comes to selecting corn hybrids for both grain and silage, predictability is key. Developed by the Institute of Grain Crops of the UAAS, "Eney 220 SV" is built to handle the challenging conditions of Ukrainian fields.

Agronomic Resilience

One of the biggest operational risks in corn farming is disease pressure, which can inflate costs and slash yields. "Eney 220 SV" stands out for its robust resistance profile. This durability is critical during harvest—the stalks remain strong, preventing lodging even if the harvest window is slightly delayed by weather. This minimizes mechanical losses and ensures the combine runs smoothly without frequent blockages.

Operational Parameters

• Maturity: A 120-140 day cycle allows for efficient harvest scheduling without the risk of excessive moisture content.
• Versatility: Whether you need high-quality silage or a solid grain harvest, this hybrid adapts well, giving you the flexibility to pivot based on market demand.
• Management: The crop is not overly demanding. It responds well to standard management practices, allowing for a predictable yield without needing expensive or complicated inputs.

For those looking for a "workhorse" variety, Eney 220 SV is a reliable choice. It simplifies the agronomic calendar and offers peace of mind by maintaining its integrity in the field. It’s an efficient solution for farmers who prioritize consistency, ease of maintenance, and solid end-use value.
