Description EC LIMES
Corn EC LIMES® — an ultra-early hybrid of grain corn developed by French breeders of the company Euralis Semences. This variety matures in 85-90 days and is intended for use as a feed crop in animal husbandry. It is distinguished by high energy content, providing high-quality feed for animals. Average grain yield is about 96 centners per hectare, with a 1000-grain weight of 222.8 g. The grain contains 26.2% dry matter, 12.3% protein, and 65.0% starch.

EC LIMES exhibits high resistance to various diseases, including rust, fusarium, and helminthosporium, as well as pests, lodging, and drought. The plant is well-adapted to various climatic conditions, including low temperatures, allowing the hybrid to be used for early planting and effectively utilize spring-winter soil moisture reserves. Plant height reaches 280 cm, with the ear forming at a level of approximately 1 meter above ground.

The hybrid with FAO 210 can achieve yields up to 135 centners per hectare at 35% grain moisture, requiring 1640 growing degree days to mature. Thanks to its characteristics and resistance, EC LIMES is a popular choice among farmers seeking high-quality feed and stable yields in various agro-climatic zones.
