RVL 178 C — high-yielding mid-season corn hybrid with FAO maturity group 330, intended for grain and silage production. Plants feature strong stalks and well-developed root systems, providing resistance to lodging and ensuring high yield stability. Kernel type is dent, with 1000-kernel weight ranging from 310 to 400 grams, indicating seed size and quality.

The hybrid demonstrates rapid and efficient moisture shedding during maturation, facilitating harvest and reducing yield losses. The plant tolerates low temperatures and adapts well to various soil-climate conditions, making it suitable for cultivation in the Polissia and Steppe regions of Ukraine. High drought tolerance, along with resistance to common corn diseases such as helminthosporium, rust, and fusarium, ensures crop reliability and resilience.

Additionally, RVL 178 C exhibits high initial growth energy and maintains high mineral nutrition levels, promoting vigorous plant development. The hybrid is suitable for both monoculture and intercropping, with optimal plant density ranging from 45,000 to 75,000 plants per hectare depending on soil moisture. High starch content in kernels (over 72%) makes this hybrid particularly valuable for producing high-quality grain and silage.
