Maize AS 201

AS 201 corn hybrid is a mid-early maturing variety with a short vegetation period, suitable for both main and supplemental planting. The plant is tall and vigorous, with broad leaves and a long cylindrical ear containing numerous rows of dent kernels with orange-yellow coloration. The leaf tip is acute-rounded, and the anthocyanic coloration of the first leaf sheath is weakly expressed. The hybrid exhibits rapid early growth and high resistance to stalk rot and ear Fusarium, contributing to stable yields and healthy plants. AS 201 is adapted to various growing conditions, including dry periods, due to its good drought tolerance. It rapidly releases moisture, making it suitable not only for dry grain production but also for green biomass. Average grain yield in the Central Chernozem region reaches 70 c/ha, confirming its high productivity and efficiency under regional agrotechnical conditions. Recommended planting density is 75,000 plants per hectare under irrigation, ensuring optimal development and maximum yield. AS 201 hybrid seeds are suitable for both grain and silage production, expanding their application in agriculture. The FAO of the hybrid is 290, indicating its mid-early maturity and versatility of use.
