MUSTANG MV is a medium-early simple two-line corn hybrid intended for grain production. The plant has medium height and medium leaf width, with a rounded-obtuse tip on the first leaf and medium anthocyanin coloration of the sheath. The leaf is slightly curved, with a medium angle between the leaf blade and stem. The tassel flowers at early-to-medium dates, has medium-dense ears, and exhibits weak or absent anthocyanin coloration on the ear husk and anthers. The main tassel axis is long, higher than the upper lateral branches, with numerous medium-length curved lateral branches. The ear is medium in length and thickness, weakly conical, with a medium-length stalk and medium or large number of rows of kernels. The kernels are toothed, with the upper part colored yellow-orange and the lower part yellow. Anthocyanin coloration of the ear stalk is medium-strong. The MUSTANG MV hybrid demonstrates high grain yield, with a medium yield of 69.4 c/ha in the Central Chernozem region, which is 8.8% higher than the standard. Maximum yield reached 150.7 c/ha. The vegetative period is approximately 123 days, slightly exceeding standard timings. Grain moisture at harvest is around 33.8%. The hybrid shows resistance to stalk rot and high resistance to southern corn leaf blight, ensuring reliable and stable yields under various growing conditions.
