AS 507 — a mid-early hybrid maize, intended for grain and silage cultivation. Plants of this hybrid are tall, reaching 280–290 cm in height, with narrow or medium-width leaves that have a linear shape and a slight inclination toward the stem. The vegetation period is approximately 126–127 days, corresponding to FAO maturity class 530. The grain is large, yellow, dent-shaped, arranged in 16 rows of 44 kernels per ear, with a 1000-kernel weight ranging from 213.3 to 258.6 grams. The hybrid exhibits high resistance to diseases, including stalk rot and ear rot, and has good resistance to lodging. Anthocyanin root coloration at the stem is moderately to strongly expressed, while tassel coloration is medium. The tassels emerge early, promoting successful pollination and yield formation. The main ear axis is positioned above the lateral branches, which have a small number of short and slightly curved branches, influencing ear structure. AS 507 demonstrates high yield performance in various cultivation regions. In the Central Chernozem region, the average grain yield was 78.4 centners per hectare, and in the Lower Volga region — 53.6 centners per hectare, exceeding standard varieties by 10–13%. The hybrid is recommended for cultivation in the North Caucasus and Lower Volga regions, where it shows stable yield performance and is adapted to local climatic conditions.
