Description SAN LEO RH
Larson Corn is a simple mid-early hybrid of universal purpose with FAO 250, developed for grain and silage production. Plants reach up to 310 cm in height, with a strong stalk and ear attachment height of approximately 110 cm. The grain is cream-colored, toothed, and forms in 14-16 rows, ensuring high yields up to 150 centners per hectare under optimal conditions. The 1000-grain weight is about 305 g, and the moisture content at harvest is 14-15%. The hybrid features rapid early growth and high development energy, contributing to early yield formation.

One of the key advantages of the Larson hybrid is its high resistance to major corn diseases such as common rust, helminthosporium, and fusarium. The disease resistance rating reaches 8-9 points, significantly reducing the risk of yield loss and minimizing the need for frequent chemical treatments. Additionally, the hybrid exhibits high resistance to lodging and drought, making it a reliable choice for cultivation in areas with insufficient moisture and hot climates.

To achieve maximum productivity, it is recommended to apply foliar microfertilizers during two critical growth stages of corn, which enhances plant nutrition and increases yield. The tall, robust plant with a strong stalk not only provides high grain output but also good drought tolerance, making the Larson hybrid an optimal solution for farmers seeking a stable and high-quality harvest.
